Patriotic Observance
On December 1, 1955 Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a Montgomery Bus. In violation of segregation laws in Montgomery, Alabama, Rosa Parks refused to surrender her bus seat to a white passenger and was arrested, sparking a 381-day bus boycott led by Martin Luther King, Jr. Source.

Did you know that about 1 out of every 8 people have difficulty affording healthy food options? To do our part, starting Monday, November 29th through Friday, December 10th, please bring in any non-perishable food to your first period to donate to the St. Patrick's Christmas Basket drive. Top 1st period class will receive Old West Cinnamon Rolls!

Give Back 250Community Service requirement to graduate: Reminder that the Records Department only logs the 20 hours of community service needed to graduate. Please DO NOT submit your hours to the Records office after you have fulfilled the required 20. If you are going for the Give Back 250 Club recognition, please submit hours to Mr. Hurtado in room #919 or visit the Google Classroom code: chcsp3s | Returning from an appointment?If you are returning to school after going to an appointment, or arriving late, please check back in at the Attendance Office before going to class (even if you return during a passing period). | Attendance Month DeadlinePlease make sure that the Attendance Office is informed of the reason for any still unverified absences for 11/8/21 - 12/3/21 by Monday, December 6th. After that date we will not be able to make any changes. |

Athletics Announcements
Attention all Freshman Baseball players or any players that are new to the program.
There will be tryouts Saturday December 11th at 10:00 AM on the Varsity Baseball field. Please come prepared and dressed appropriately in baseball attire. If you have any questions please see or email Coach Silveira at marcus.silveira@lmusd.org.

There are activities listed for November 20th (Knowing You Matter), Youth Football Super Bowl (AGHS Athletic Boosters) and December 4th - 12th (Amp Surf). Don't pass up these moments to make things happen in your community!
Submitting your community service hours
The Google Form for Community Service Hours is used for the graduation requirement of 20 hours. Any hours in addition to your graduation requirement should be submitted on the Give Back 250 Google Classroom with Mr. Hurtado.
