For the safety of our students, please be sure to stay in the car line and do not let your child(ren) out of the car until after the crosswalk. Once your child is out of the car, please do not pull out and pass the other cars in the line.
This is a reminder to all families that students need to be in their homeroom by 8:35AM or they will be marked tardy.
Scholastic Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair will take place during the week of November 7th – November 11th. Join us for Family Night on Thursday, November 10th from 6pm to 8pm. Please visit our website on how to volunteer. To view the schedule of when your student(s) will be visiting the book fair during school hours, click here to be directed to the Jamison Library webpage (www.cbsd.org/jamisonlibrary). Book fair profits support the addition of new books for the library shelves and classroom libraries. Thank you for supporting the book fair!
Library Alert!
The library has noticed with the increased use of reusable water bottles the rise in wet and ruined library books! In order to try to combat this problem, we advise you have your child place the reusable water bottle on the outside mesh pocket of the school bag (if possible), be aware that the water bottle and book bag remain upright to prevent leaking, and possibly even transport library books in a large plastic baggie in the book bag. Even a drop of water on a book can lead to wrinkled pages and mold growth! Please help keep our library books dry and away from food and water!
Thank you!

A Message from Grubs Ecology…
T’was a week before Halloween and all through the school
The pumpkins were painted And man were they cool!
The families had decorated their pumpkins with care
In hopes that the students would all stop and stare
From pumpkins of Phillies to scary to funny
To enter they gave two dollars of money
Good family fun is what we all had.
To help Grubs Ecology and make the earth glad
To build a strawberry patch at the start of the spring
Thank you to all for the pumpkins you bring.
Grubs thanks all those who participated in our annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest. You made this the most successful Pumpkin Decorating Contest yet! Grubs Ecology plans on building two pergolas and a pile of benches to make an outdoor library in the courtyard.
We hope you had fun “carving” out some family time to work on your pumpkins. A HUGE THANK YOU ALSO GOES OUT TO ALL WHO BOUGHT TICKETS TO VOTE FOR YOU FAVORITE PUMPKINS…Jamison Elementary Rocks!
Respectfully,
-Mr. Croyle
