AdvancEd ~ Continuous School Improvement Update

As a school district, it is crucial that we continue to review, reflect, and update our Vision and Mission statements. Over the past couple of months, our staff members have been working on revising our former Vision and Mission statements to reflect our current belief and purpose as a school district, as well as what we consider critical and essential educational components as a progressive school district.

Below is our newly revised Vision and Mission statements! We are looking forward to sharing these statements with all students, as the purpose of developing these statements is primarily focused on each individual who is part of our Louisville Public Schools.

Vision Statement - Louisville Public School is a progressive district that engages a community of learners in collaboration towards excellence.

Mission Statement - Louisville Public School staff, families, and community are dedicated to the intellectual, emotional, physical growth, and safety of our students.

We will be submitting all documentation/information to our AdvancEd External Engagement Team on Monday, February 11, 2019. This will provide the external team approx. four weeks to review our information before their official visit on Sunday, March 17, 2019.

In addition, we will be sharing a live website link for our "Lion" families in the next coming weeks. This website will provide our staff and families information and access regarding our district action plans, supporting artifacts, survey/inventory results, as well as additional information regarding the work we are doing within our school district.
