Week of May 29th
This week in 3rd Grade
Last Week of 3rd Grade!!
I am not sure how it happened, but here we are. I have had the most amazing privilege of spending the year with your students. They will each forever have a part of my heart!! You have all welcomed me with open arms to Monroe and the great community that we are all a part of! I am looking forward to sweet visits from time to time to catch up on these friends and your families!
TUESDAY IS DRESS LIKE A PIRATE DAY!
I am so excited to see each pirate that comes through our door tomorrow! We have a fun day of centers and pirate games to complete!
We also will get to enjoy one more visit with our book buddies for an afternoon recess and popsicle break! :)
WEDNESDAY IS THE 5TH GRADE/TEACHER VOLLEYBALL GAME
The game will be played at 1:15 in the Monroe gym.
THURSDAY IS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL AND OUR FIELD TRIP TO STAR SKATE.
AT 8:00 we will line the halls of Monroe to cheer our 5th graders on for success at middle school and show just how proud we are of them. We will begin our walk to Star Skate about 8:15 after the parade of 5th graders. Each student will have a water bottle and admission provided with a regular pair of skates rental. We will start walking back around 11. Parents are not required but are welcome. If you would like to walk with us, please let me know as soon as possible.
NEW SCHOOL SCHEDULE:
School will now begin at 7:40 each morning and end at 3:10. The buses will run 10 minutes earlier and breakfast will also begin 10 minutes earlier at Monroe each morning.
Thank you for all your support and thoughtfulness this year. I am honored that I was able to be a teacher to your kiddos. They taught me so much as well! I can't wait to continue to watch them grow and blossom into world changers!
Thank you for sharing your child with me,
