Raincross Bell
What is the meaning behind the Raincross symbol?
The bell of the Raincross is inspired by the mass bell of Father Junipero Serra, founder of the California missions. The double-cross is said to be an ancient Native American symbol for the dragonfly which emerged each year after the summer rains.

The hotel is designed to emulate California Missions. How many Spanish Missions were built in CA, what is their significance to the United States?
There are 21 Spanish missions in California. The significance was schools, religions etc. was increasing.
Booker T Washington Bust
Who was Booker T Washington? & How were his views different than WEB DuBois?
Booker Washington was an African-American educator, author, and advisor to presidents of the United States. Booker T Washington did not address social equality for blacks, and wanted to make black community economically independent while WEB DuBois wanted social equality for blacks and helped found National Association for Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

The U.S helped panama fight Spain and Columbia from coming and in return they gave them a route for naval ships to use as like a back route.

I think his biggest accomplishment was getting panama canal because it benefited the U.S in many ways and is still used to this day.
