LET'S GO CHIEFS, PLAYING FOR ANOTHER NFL SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP!
KC Chiefs Caps are on the way to Branson!
The City of Branson in collaboration with the Branson/Lakes Area Tourism District has provided every student and staff member in our district a KC Chiefs cap. As an official vacation destination of the Kansas City Chiefs, Branson Schools' students and staff will receive a New Era Super Bowl Champions cap from last season. The caps will be distributed this Thursday, February 8, during 8th period, just in time to support your swag look for the Chiefs attempt at becoming a true NFL dynasty. With a win this Sunday in Super Bowl LVIII, the Chiefs would become the first back-to-back Super Bowl champions in almost 20 years and winners of three Super Bowls in five seasons.
FANTASTIC FRIDAYS AT BJHS!
Payton Rhoads - February 2
Ms. Payton Rhoads is a hardworking, dedicated, and collaborative young professional educator. A hometown girl and BJHS and BHS alumnus, Miss Payton has shown a willingness to positively stretch herself at the beginning of her public school educator career. She was willing to pursue science certification to take on a science classroom teacher position her first two years, even though she was a math education major at MSU. Her impact on the success of her students has been notable as a passionate and caring teacher and as one of our Archery Club sponsors. Miss Payton has also stepped up to lead the Blackbeard Core Team this year and gained acceptance to join the current Branson Evangel Masters cohort. Way to go, Miss Payton!
Brad Bacon - February 2

Vector Training Reminder is due for completion this coming Monday, February 5th
Vector / SafeSchools training and compliance videos have been assigned for the spring semester and will be due by February 5th.
There will also be a “test out option” for employees. Employees will have the option to complete the assessment first, and if they are able to pass at 80%, they will not be required to watch the videos. If an employee would like to test out of the training, they will need to select “TEST OUT” on the right side of the course. If they prefer to complete the training, they can select “No Thanks, I would rather complete the entire course.”
This link will take employees directly to the SafeSchools/Vector training website. Employees can login using their school email address as a Username. If any difficulties arise, please email Deborah Harryman (harrymand@branson.k12.mo.us).
Thank you for taking time to complete this important training to ensure we provide a safe learning environment for our students.
