Thank you all for taking the time out of your busy schedules to attend the parent-teacher conference last week; it was a pleasure to see you all. The class is enthusiastic about learning new materials and working on new projects. I am sure we will have a productive and wonderful school week. These are the projects that we will be working on for this week.
Math
The targeted skill for this week is for students to recognize one-digit numerals (0-9) in print and say the correct number names. I am excited to inform you that we have successfully accomplished learning how to recognize the numeral “1” and “2”. This week, the class will be working on how to recognize the numeral “3”. Students will learn how to recognize “3” and say the correct number name when they see it. Individual activities as well as group activities will be provided to enhance student learning so that they can practice independently and with classmates.
