New Dismissal Application With Parent App Feature
In our ongoing efforts to enhance your children’s safety, we have decided to begin using the PikMyKid Dismissal Application. The unique features of PikMyKid allow you, as parents, to easily change pick up modes, quickly delegate to an alternate individual for pickup, change to an ‘After School’ program, and even schedule for future pickup mode, pickup individual, and after school programs. This app allows you to be in full control of your child’s dismissal and it gives us, the school, complete information regarding dismissal and the ability to acknowledge every change and to instantly check your child’s dismissal status should you have a question.
Whether you have an Android phone or an iPhone, at your convenience, visit the appropriate app store and download the PikMyKid app. Once downloaded, the registration process is very simple.
You will receive a PikMyKid Car Tag at Meet the Teacher night or on the first day of school. As you register in the App, use this number on the car tag. You will be the Primary Parent for your child and in control of their dismissal. You can delegate alternate individuals, but they should have the App also as it will send a matching number to the phone for us to validate the correct person is picking up the proper child. If you are part of a car pool, each child’s number will be sent to the phone for validation. You will be asked for the necessary information (Child Name, Grade, Teacher, Dismissal Mode, & Car Tag Number) upon registration.
When you come to pick up your child for dismissal, place the PikMyKid Car Tag in your front window.
The PikMyKid Support Team is always available to help you when you have a question. You can contact them at email@example.com.

Student Symptom Screening
Parents please screen your children for symptoms at home prior to sending them to school. Use the below checklist for home screening. Students with symptoms or known exposure to positive case should stay home and parents/guardians please notify the school and request guidance. Students not feeling well during the school day will notify their child's teacher for guidance. The checklist includes:
- fever or chills
- muscle aches
- new loss of taste or smell
- new runny nose or congestion
- shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- sore throat
- close contact with a person with COVID-19
Regardless of vaccination status, students with COVID-19 symptoms but no test for COVID will remain at home for 10 days after symptom onset, AND free of fever for at least 24 hours, AND other symptoms have improved.
Students who are fully vaccinated and are exposed to someone with a confirmed COVID-19 case can refrain from quarantine if they are not showing any symptoms. A fully vaccinated individual is defined as:
Someone who received their second dose in a two-dose vaccine series more than two weeks ago.
Someone who received their first dose in a single-dose vaccine more than two weeks ago.
If students arrive at school not feeling well or start feeling ill during the school day, they will report to the health para’s office. Students with COVID symptoms will need to be picked up immediately and will not be allowed to ride home on the bus.
Parents will notify the health para if their student is exposed to someone with a confirmed COVID-19 case. If the student is not fully vaccinated they will need to stay home for 14 days from their last contact with the positive person. They may return after 14 days if no symptoms develop in that time.
All students testing positive for COVID-19 who have symptoms but were not hospitalized may return to school 10 days after symptom onset, AND at least 24 hours with no fever, AND other symptoms have improved
All students testing positive for COVID-19 who never develop symptoms may return to school 10 days after the first positive test.
Morning Arrival Information
Afternoon Dismissal Information
For our students that are picked up by parents at the end of the school day, car rider students will be picked up in the back of the school. Parents will need to enter the back parking lot off of Main Street. In order to keep traffic moving, please travel east on Main Street to make a right turn into the back parking lot. Please form a single file line. A staff member will direct you to the pick up area. Please stay in your car in order to keep the line moving. Your child will exit the building and will be assisted into your vehicle by a staff member. Once your child is safely in the vehicle, you may proceed back towards Main Street to exit the parking lot. In order to keep traffic moving, please turn right onto Main Street when exiting the back parking lot. Afternoon dismissal will begin at 4:00 pm.
