Volume 1 ~ Issue 15~ Week of November 6, 2022

Message from the Principal

It's hard to believe it is already November!! We only have two weeks of school before Thanksgiving break. Don't forget we have no school this Friday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day.

November is a wonderful time to reflect on what you are thankful for. What are you thankful for? This month, I'll be doing a thankful campaign where students and staff can fill out this google form HERE to tell me what they are thankful for. We will be announcing some thankful messages each day in November, so listen out for yours! Be sure to keep your messages appropriate!

We have our Noche de Cuentos coming up this Wednesday so I hope you can join us! If you haven't already RSVP'd, please do so HERE. It's going to be a wonderful evening for families, so sign up today!

We have four more weeks until final exams! What are you doing to stay on top of your academics and not fall behind?!? Remember we have after school tutoring Monday-Thursday from 3:20-4:20 in the library and our remaining Saturday Academy dates are December 3rd and 10th. You got this, Vikings...let's finish the semester strong!

Congratulations to Mr. Williams' advisory class for winning last week's Music Monday challenge and earning fresh donuts! Remember, this is a game where each week, I play a short snippet of a song over the PA system and the 3rd advisory class that calls the office with the correct title and artist, wins a special breakfast treat that morning! Will your advisory class win this week?!?

Wishing you a great Week 15, Vikings!

Take care,

Ms. Scott

Vikings smash some pumpkins!

On Saturday, nine of our Vikings participated in the Game of Throws: The 6th Annual Pumpkin Smash were teams competed against each other to catapult pumpkins across a field. Now that we got to experience it, next year, we'll build our own catapult and compete in the top division! Thank you to the kids who went for being such good troopers on a very long, hot day!
