REPORT CARDS TODAY
Please take this time to sit with your child to go over today's report card. Ask your child to reflect on areas he or she did well on as well as areas in need of improvement. Celebrate your child's hard work and dedication and set up a plan for Q3.
We tell students that a new Quarter is a new start. "Everyday is another opportunity to turn things all around"---one of our favorite quotes! It's important if your child struggled to focus on a new start and goals for the new Quarter. Additionally, talking about ways to improve, such as turning in assignments on time and creating a schedule, are helpful.
Last night, guidance counselors Julie Swan and Susan Smith presented "Tips for Continued Success During Remote Learning" virtually to parents. This presentation went over ways for parents to address academic success and social emotional learning. Additionally, resources for therapy and help were shared. Please click on the link below if you missed this great presentation.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Access to PTCfast, our electric sign conference sign up system for parents, will become available then. We will send out a connect ed message. Directions will also be on our school website Monday.
February District Calendar
NEW CONCURRENT LEARNING SCHEDULE
Thank you to our students and teachers for another successful week. We understand that change can be difficult. Our students have persevered. Keep up the good work!
As a reminder, when Cohort A is in person, Cohort B should be zooming in, and vice versa. Students are required to zoom in all three days that they are not in person. This includes flex times. Attendance will be taken.
We shared digital presentations for both families and students to better understand the process. These presentations can be accessed here:
Essentially, our new schedule incorporates live Zooms for every class when students are working remotely (see below "virtual"). It is very similar to what we have been doing for the last two weeks.
Attendance is mandatory in classes all five days (classes will be held on Wednesdays, also). Please listen to the videos to further understand the image below.

Tech Help
1. Follow these steps at our district website
2. Click on "HELP' in Canvas (see left bar when in Canvas; HELP is last button)
It's important to be sure students are on their school issued Chromebook and have signed into CANVAS with their credentials. Zoom should be accessed using links provided by teachers. Once a session ends, students should close out of that session so that they are able to get into another session. Muliple sessions cannot be open.
