Mrs. Benoit - River Place Elementary - 3rd grade

Important Information

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I loved all my Valentine gifts, cards, and candy. I felt very loved! :)

Also, a huge thank you to Jennifer Stone and Kim Krant for organizing our class party. It was a lot of fun and couldn't have happened without our wonderful class volunteers.

· The book report due date have been extended to March 7th. February report is fantasy (imaginative) fiction. We are encouraging the students to choose a book that is at least on, and hopefully a bit above, grade level. By now, they have a solid understanding of the expectations, and now is the time to start stretching those fundamental skillsets.

Please encourage your child to take advantage of the computer-based math programs your child can access from home! Contact me if you’ve forgotten the password information.

  • Please make sure that your child is reading each night. This is so important as it will help them to become better readers. We want their endurance to continue to grow. The STAAR test will be long and require a lot of reading. :)
