My code of ethics
By: Taylor Olson
My 4 standards
1. Be trustworthy
2. Be respectful
3. Be responsible
4. Be honest
Trustworthy
At school you ask one of your friends to borrow their iPad. If they trust you with something that valuable to them you should treat it like it is your own and respect their property so next time you ask to borrow something they know they can trust you.
Respectful
A teacher trusts a student to use an expensive camera for a project at school and expects them to be careful with it. The student should be responsible with the camera and respect the teacher's property without goofing around or putting the camera in danger.
Responsible
A student eats some food in one of their classes and the bell is about to ring. The student should be responsible and pick up their trash and leave the area how they found it so someone who didn't make the mess won't have to clean it up.
BE HONEST
The most important one of them all
If a student was using a flash drive and accidentally deleted a file they may be nervous to tell someone because they are afraid of getting in trouble, but to show that they can be honest and responsible for their actions they should politely confront the teacher or owner of the flash drive and let them know what happened and sincerely apologize.
