Clinton Cougar Newsletter

October 2021

Dear Clinton Families,

We are looking forward to meeting with you at parent teacher conferences this week. It will be an early-out schedule on Oct. 6-8th.

This year we will be celebrating Halloween, on Oct. 28th, with class parties. Students will not wear costumes to school. However, the PTA is doing school spirit dress up days for Red Ribbon week and students can dress according to the theme for the day. We will share those details as the week gets closer.

Throughout the year, and especially in the spring, we do state-wide standardized assessments. Opting-out of these assessments must be done annually. There is a form available in the front office if you would like to make this request.

Fall Break is rapidly approaching and school will be out on Oct. 14-15th.

Enjoy the time off!

Counselor's Corner

The month of October is college and career readiness. We are focusing on setting goals, the importance of hard work, importance of school and attendance, available careers, and continuing education once out of high school.

Red Ribbon Week is in October. We will be having fun activities and dress up days and will send home the details as it gets closer.

You can still order school T-shirts, stop by the office and they will help you.

Friday School Spirit Day!

Our classes are having a school spirit competition each Friday to see who can show the most school spirit. Students should wear a school shirt, blue shirt, or grey shirt in order to be counted towards the class total for the most amazing school spirit. The winning class gets to display the spirit wreath for the following week.
