Tiger Teacher Topics of the Week
Mrs. Jester's Math
This week, Mrs. Jester's 6th grade math classes will be determining equivalencies among fractions, decimals and percents. We will also be comparing and ordering these equivalencies using the symbols >, <, and =.
Next week, Mrs. Jester's 6th grade Pre-AP Pre-Algebra class will continue working with reflections and rotations on two dimensional figures. The students' Tessellation Project is due on December 2 and there will also be a test over similarity and transformations on December 2nd.

This week we will be learning house and furniture vocabulary and will describe our homes. We will also be learning and practicing our verbs. Lots of new vocabulary this week!!

After finishing making an electromagnet and a motor, we are ready to turn attention to thermal energy until the end of December.
