Class of 2020 Senior Awards
IMPORTANT: End-of-year Chromebook procedures and information for 2020-2021
You will find three communications below – the first is for Tigers in grades PreK-6 who are using a district Chromebook at home for purposes of remote learning. The second is for Tigers who are new to the Chromebook program. The third is for Tigers who are already enrolled in the program. (Read more.)

Loveland Board of Education appoints two new members to the board; approves budget cuts
The Loveland City Schools Board of Education voted unanimously to appoint Kevin Dougherty and Dr. Eric Schwetschenau as new board members at the Tuesday, May 12, board meeting after receiving 36 applications to fill two vacant positions. Kevin Dougherty retired in early 2017 as The Kroger Company’s first Chief Digital Officer. His daughter is a Loveland Tiger graduate. Kevin is an active sponsor of the X-Path Program at Xavier University. Eric Schwetschenau is a practicing physician and parent of a Loveland Tiger student. He has expertise as a business owner and as a member of charitable and financial boards. (Read more.)

State budget reductions will put further financial strain on local school district
Last week, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced that the state will need to cut $775 million in spending to offset the loss in tax revenue due to the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, K-12 public schools will bear the burden of approximately $300 million in reduced funding from the state. (Read more.)
