Red cross Australia

Charity

What and how Red Cross Australia helps.

Red cross Australia helps those in need, people who needs food and especially water. They even help those who's houses got broken and litterally all the kind of people who need help. They also help medically. They do all this just with the power of volunteers. Unfed children are vulnerable to deseases and many other bad things that have bacteria. Charities like the red cross help theses people and give them hope but before you knew charities, you might have thought that they do it for free, but actually, thousands and millions of people help, by giving money for these people and that's how charirties work. Not only the young is what the red cross Australia helps but from when they are born to people who are close to their death because of age. The red cross does not stop helping people, even at holiday times.

Donating

Although so many people donate, only 1/30 of Earth actually donate. The red cross is already doing alot with this, but imagine how much they could do if 1/2 of the people donate. They help natural disasters that break peoples homes by rebuilding them, and help sickness by giving blood, and fortunately we can donate blood.

What it says in the picture above.

In the picture above you may read the words : IT'S ALL ABOUT HELPING! but the small text below those words are as following : As they are struggling with disasters and everyday challenges, it is our mission to provide support through the donations of individuals and other organizations.

Rebuilding houses in Thailand (and a bit about the Typhoon that destroyed the homes.

Typhoons are dangerous and natural disaster that causes almost limitless destruction upon the houses and many other habitats. The typhoon caused many houses to fall and break, but still the red cross helps the poor who didn't deserve their homes to be destroyed. They do this by rebuilding the homes for the people who got their homes destroyed. Below is a video about Typhoons.

Slideshow.

On top of this text is just a small slide show (mostly with pictuers)

World toilet day.

This may sound a bit weird but the Australian red cross is also helping out with something called the world toilet day. The world toilet day is on every 19th of November and was made to highlight the problem with low sanitation facilities. Believe it or not, 1.5 people died due to this problem, and most of the people were children. This might not seem like a big problem but it is actually is quite a major one. This is not one hundred percent appropriate so I won't go into further detail About this.( The meaning of sanitation.Sanitation is the hygienic means of promoting health through prevention of human contact with the hazards of wastes as well as the treatment and proper disposal of sewage or wastewater. Hazards can be either physical, microbiological, biological or chemical agents of disease. Wastes that can cause health problems include human and animal excreta, solid wastes, domestic wastewater, industrial wastes and agricultural wastes. Hygienic means of prevention can be by using engineering solutions, simple technologies, or even simply by personal hygiene practices

Your opinion. (and mine)

So, do you think the red cross Australia is helpful?

In my opinion, they are very helpful but unfortunately I can't donate any money because I'm not the kind of person who has eough money to donate, but I'm the kind of man who doesn't have much time to go to the charity. I wouldn't be able to believe how depressing the people who aregoing to be if red cross does not do their jobs anymore.I think think more people should donate and so does the red cross Australia, but I don't blame them, they have already done so much for others, it will be way to much for them to do it with their own money.Even if you think a little bit goes to the people who do the job, but they get every single cent that was donated to them and give it to the poor, or use it to develop their equipments, for saving lives and doing project/missions for example, helping getting rid of the ebola virus.
