E-Learning Literacy Day
Montevallo Elementary
Dear Parents,
Thank you parents for making a tough year so much better. You've supported us through it all. You've worked extra hours with academics, learned how to navigate all sorts of technology, sent extra hand sanitizer, and put your babies in masks day after day. It's been a team effort more than ever this year!
We certainly have missed seeing you face to face though, parents. We've missed you in the lunchroom with your child. We've missed you volunteering in the classrooms. We've missed you at L.E.A.D Assemblies. The list goes on and on. You are a huge part of Montevallo Elementary. It's not the same without you.
My hope is to support you through a virtual literacy day that you can participate in on your own time. In this newsletter, you will find quality information that you can use throughout the summer to support your child's literacy development, some snapshots into our new normal here at MES, and opportunities for you to correspond directly with me for any questions or concerns you may have.
Again, thank you for all the love you've shown us this year. You are so valuable. I sure hope to see you in the hallways in the near future!
