Pickup Day for Fall Fundraiser Items...

Our fall fundraiser items are expected to arrive after lunch on December 3. If your child's fundraiser order is small in size, we will send it home with your child that afternoon. Large items/orders will need to be picked up from school between 3:00 and 4:00 on December 3. If your child attends our After School program, we will have them ready for pick up when you sign your child out of After School. If you have any questions, please call the school.

NOTE - please do not come into the office to pick up any fundraiser items until after 3:00 due to car rider traffic.

IES Christmas Toy Drive in Honor of Captain Stan Elrod

Please remember our IES Toy Drive, which is going on now through December 9th. Our Toy Drive this year is done in honor of Department of Natural Resources Captain Stan Elrod, who died tragically earlier this school year. He was the husband of Mrs. Julie Elrod, one of our parapros here at IES, and father of two of our former Gators. His death was a tremendous loss to our community. For this reason, we are honoring Captain Elrod and his family with this year’s Toy Drive. Thank you so much for supporting our school and community!

Face Mask Reminder...

We have several students who continue to forget their face masks at home on a frequent basis. If you can PLEASE make sure there is a clean face mask in your child's book bag each night, that would be most helpful!

Note - if your child needs new face masks or neck gaiters, our PTO will be selling them each time our Swamp Shack is open.

Water Bottle Reminder...

Because our water fountains are unavailable for students to use due to COVID, it is important for your child to remember to bring his/her water bottle to school each day. (Students are able to use our water bottle filling stations to refill their water bottles throughout the day.) PLEASE double-check each morning to make sure your child's water bottle is in the outside pouch of his/her book bag. Thanks in advance for your help with this!
