Principal Update
Happy Friday and Happy December! As we approach the holiday season, I am delighted to embrace the spirit of inclusivity and unity within our school community. The holiday season is a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate the diversity that makes our school special. Let us come together to create an inclusive environment where every staff member, student, and family feels valued and respected.
This is a time to not only exchange gifts and joy but also to also extend kindness to one another, recognizing and appreciating the unique strengths and backgrounds that each individual brings to our school family. By fostering a culture of understanding and empathy, we can ensure that this holiday season is a truly magical and inclusive experience for everyone. Wishing you all a season filled with joy, compassion, and the warmth of togetherness.
Updates & Reminders
- Interested in a unique summer camp opportunity for your student? Give the ultimate gift of fun and learning by signing up for Camp Invention! This is a memorable STEM adventure for all curious students wondering more about the world! Learn more here.
- It's getting colder and colder! In addition to sending students to school with appropriate clothing for being outside, we are also in the season of possible school closures or delays. To learn more about the process and how this is communicated, visit the district webpage here.
- Wondering when to keep your sick student home? Find information and recommendations at the district webpage here.
Interested in running an after-school club? Parents and/or community members who run afterschool programs are hired and paid for their time. Let Ms. Hellenthal know what kind of club you want to run (follow your passions!) and we'll get you set up!
- Thank you for continuing to park in other spots in the lot rather than in our bus and Zum zones. We appreciate your attention to this!
