An overview of high school and beyond (graduation requirements, college planning, HOPE scholarship, Freshman Mentoring) presented by our 9 th Grade Counselor. Our
School Psychologist will share helpful tips for parenting teenagers.

A representative from Georgia Student Finance Commission will be here to
discuss college funding options. The information will include the HOPE Scholarship, Zell Miller Scholars Program, the HOPE Grant and other options through GACollege411.org and the Commission.
College Admissions Process
Collaborative Learning Center (Presentation at 6:30 and 7:15)
A college representative will discuss the criteria colleges consider for
admission, share information about a College Open House/Campus Visitation Days and suggest questions you might ask on a college visit.

Officers Spanish Honor Society
NG Pink and Blue Out- Sept 25th
The North Gwinnett Annual Pink Out Celebration for our community's cancer survivors will be merged this year with GHSA's state-wide Blue Out to raise awareness for prostate cancer. We will be playing Mill Creek on September 25th.
ALL cancer survivors and their caregivers are invited to join us for a reception during the first half of the game in the stadium pavilion. We will recognize our survivors and caregivers on the field during half-time. If you know a survivor, please ask them to join us. Please register survivors in advance with Carol Martin at Carol_S_Martin@gwinnett.k12.ga.us
If you pre-ordered a t-shirt, they will be delivered to your school of choice on Wednesday, Sept 23rd for you to pick up.
If you missed the pre-order time-line, shirts will be on sale at the high school during all lunches starting on Wednesday in the front entry-way until we are sold out. $15 each - cash or check to NGHS.
Everyone wear your pink and blue on Friday, Sept. 25th all around our community to show your support for all of our cancer survivors.
