Branagan's Bulletin
Week of March 9 - 13, 2020
Hello Sachems! Welcome Back!
Hello Sachems! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! There is so much to celebrate at MHS this week! So many of our students represented our high school with tremendous Sachem Pride and leadership this week! As principal, I am beyond proud of the accomplishments of all of you each and every day! Please keep up the great work both inside and outside of the classroom! Your hard work does not go unnoticed.
A special note of thanks and appreciation...
- Congratulations to the members of the Student Council for an outstanding representation at the annual state conference for Student Council. The Student Council was named a Five Star Council for the 2019-2020 school year.
- Congratulations to Matt Gwozdz for receiving the James Rokas Award for his outstanding leadership. Matt will attend the MASC Summer Leadership Conference for free this summer.
- Congratulations to Holly Jacobson for receiving the John Schrader Leadership Award and will have her registration fee for the National Conference for Student Council paid for. Well done, Holly.

- Congratulations to Matt Ruggiero for taking a leap of faith to show the State of Massachusetts the true leader that he is. Matt ran for the State Vice President for the Massachusetts Association of Student Councils (MASC) and he did an outstanding job. Although, the election did not work the way we hoped…he led with grace and determination. We are beyond proud of you, Matt. We are so lucky Matt is a Sachem!
- A special note of thanks and appreciation to Matt Desrosiers, Katie Benson, Leanne MacDonald, Kyle Maloney and Cami Morano for their incredible talent as they served as the media crew for the MASC State Conference in Hyannis! We were able to work with Aspen to correct the error that fixed the omission of the comments. We feel that the comments are important, which is the reason for the re-printing.
The Progress Reports will be distributed in Advisory on Monday.

Morning Drop-Off Reminders!
Please be reminded of the morning drop-off procedures as shared in early November. Only School Buses are to drop-off in front of the main entrance of the high school. All students and parent/guardians dropping off are to unload around the building by the Cafeteria and East Bus Lobby Entrance. No cars (unless approved by Administration) are to drop-off at the main entrance between 6:35 and 7:20am.
Also, all students are reminded NEVER to pass a school bus, or mini-school bus when their lights are flashing.
