New Principal
The Nebo School Board of Education has appointed Kelly Taylor as the Principal of Mt. Nebo Middle School.
Mrs. Taylor has served as the Assistant Principal of Landmark High School for two and a half years and dean of students for two years. She taught Utah Studies at Springville Jr. for one year, History and Read 180 Teacher at Diamond Fork Jr. for 11 years, and Math and Social Studies at Spanish Fork Middle for six years.
Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (1-8) degree from Utah State University and Master of Education and Administrative certification from Southern Utah University.
A colleague said, “Kelly is amazing! I have been impressed with how she connects with students, faculty, and the Landmark Community. She is all in on helping students move toward their potential. She is a force for good for some of our most at-risk students. I’m excited to see the positive difference she will make at Mt. Nebo Middle School. I’m sure she will change the world there for her new students too!”
Kelly’s Personal Motto is, “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” By Ralph Waldo Emmerson
Kelly is married to Scott Taylor.
