Thanksgiving
This is the time to appreciate family. You've heard me talk about Seneca as a family in the past. I personally am thankful and humbled to be fortunate enough to serve this community. Your open communication and partnership have made this a great few years where we keep building off of our own successes. Thank you for being real and genuine and always keeping our eyes on the prize- student growth!
COVID Updates
We had our 6th positive case in the building this week. We still have not had any transmissions based on our tracking and investigations. If you're interested in coming in to help, lunch time is a great opportunity- Lunch Volunteer Sign-Up.
Business Partner Highlights- Permaculture Gardens
Our very own Schauder family has been working to help beautify our front garden area while educating our students and families. They winterized our front garden last week and we will be ready for students to sign-up to learn more when we start again in March. Check them out at Permaculture Gardens- www.growmyownfood.com
3 Ways Permaculture Gardens Might Be Able to Help You:

Below is a clip of Mr. Peck teaching the Peterson Naturalist Teachers. He has been working with Permaculture Gardens and Peterson to help ensure our children today spend more time outdoors. Currently, students are devoting only four to seven minutes to unstructured outdoor play per day while spending an average of seven and a half hours in front of electronic media. This class helped teachers understand the importance of spending time outdoors, and how to effectively teach their classes in outdoor environments.
