WANTED: School Council Parent Representatives!
**Looking for two more**
A school council is a representative, school building-based committee composed of the principal, parents, teachers, community members and, at the secondary level, students, required to be established by each school pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 71, Section 59C.
Teachers, parents, and community members work together in shaping the policies and programs of the school. This group conducts multiple action steps throughout the year, including reviewing and making suggestions for the school handbook, discussing the school budget and school improvement plan, and share updates from the populations they represent.
This group meets once a month at a time mutually determined by the group. If you are interested in joining us please email me at smarscher@natickps.org!

May will be here next week which means that summer is right around the corner! While it's our hope that students and families prioritize time to relax and rejuvenate, we also wanted to share resources as students can benefit from structures, routines, and continued opportunities for social and emotional development during the summer months. Feel free to check out Mrs. Simoni's Counseling Corner with information for Summer Programming -- there is a great variety of fun options worth considering as your schedule allows!
