Grade Level Changes??
Stars and Wish
- Visiting during writing/reading lessons has been wonderful to see in action - great things happening. A cool form for peer editing had a check list box for students to read aloud their new writing to a peer. This is a easy way to have kids share their writing each day.
- In a K classroom students were able to share their predictions of a story using SeeSaw on the iPad to draw their predictions. They were excited to share their thinking and all the kids enjoyed seeing the drawings and hearing the thinking - and then later liking the drawings - fun and engaging!
- Mid year reflections for Randa Tower were so great to read. The focus on student achievement and intentional plan for learning more to meet growth goals was impressive to read. Great reflection and results are evidence of your focus!
Wish:
- Be sure you have met with students on their learning goals for the rest of the year. Keep moving the needle up on iReady scores - it DOES correlate to the MAP test.
