Looking Ahead:

Tuesday, October 9th we have a field trip to Suamico Elementary School for Log a Load. Please dress appropriately for the weather that day. Thanks!

THANK YOU to Mrs. Stuelpner, Mrs. Schock, and Bay Port student Katie Avery for offering to volunteer in the Pyramid House. They will be helping with small groups every week on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

We are giving a big shout out to Ms. Utech who approached us to help teach her fifth grade students about awesome books we have read over the years as well as encourage them to get out of their typical genre of choice. Small groups are polishing up their "bookmercials" to share with them, early next week.

Social Studies

Students finished learning all about Reconstruction and the the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments last week and we are now moving on to learn about Westward Expansion and the fight for Native Americans to survive.

Book Clubs and our "Be" Bulletin Board

Students wrapped up their book clubs this week with an awesome three day workshop on summarizing and theme. We also created a bulletin board with each Pyramid House student creating a word they feel all students should "be".
