Student Spotlight
Seventh Grade Mock Debate
7th-grade students conducted a mock debate on a historical event in 1066 when King Edward the Confessor died without an heir. The students analyzed and researched the events leading up to his death and the four claimants who argued for the crown. Students then presented their arguments which varied from political reasons to lineage as to why their claimant should be the King of England.
Counseling Corner
Counselors Coaching Perseverance
Our school counselors have been working with students on building the character trait- perseverance. It is such a vital skill that translates to success in school, in work, in sports, and in everyday life! Our students are supported and encouraged to take risks, 'fail forward', and embrace a growth mindset. Please see article below about how you can practice perseverance as a family.
