2018 CLASS PRESIDENT RUN-OFF
There is a run-off between Hana Lone and Joel Pyun for 2018 Senior Class President. Voting ends TODAY, April 25th at 4:15pm. You can vote through the website/app http://voting4schools.com. Search for Plano.

SUMMER SCHOOL PACKETS ARE IN!
Any student planning to enroll in summer school needs to see their counselor soon. Counselors MUST PRE-APPROVE the course(s) before a student can register.
11th graders:
Students planning to take a dual enrollment course next year need to turn in all forms to their counselor as soon as possible. The Collin College enrollment and registration process must be complete prior to May 26th.
AP Exams
Students planning to take an AP exam this spring are strongly encouraged to check their Total Registration account to confirm that registration and payment have been made for the correct exam(s). Exams are ordered for exactly what is entered in Total Registration; there are no extra exams. If there is a mistake in Total Registration, students should see Ms. Choate or Ms. Brown in the counseling office immediately or the correct exam will not be available in May.
FROM THE REGISTRAR
Final Class Rank and GPA will be available at the Registrar’s Office beginning April 25th. Please have picture ID ready.
Class rank and GPA is not given during class time – even if you do NOT have a class.
The list of Honor Graduates will be posted later this week on the trophy case windows opposite the Registrar’s Office. At that time you may sign for, pay, and pick up the Honor Stole. Cost is $15.00 cash.
Beginning May 1st you may start requesting Final, Graduated Transcripts to be sent to your colleges. These will be held until after June 10th at which time we will begin sending. Electronic transcripts will go first, followed by paper copies. We hope to complete the process by June 23rd .
If you would like a personal copy for yourself, please provide a stamped, self-addressed envelope and your copy will be mailed to you towards the end of June.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS!
ATTENDANCE REMINDERS: In accordance with Texas State Law, students having 10 or more absences, including excused and unexcused, in any class, may be in danger of losing credit for that course unless appropriate action is taken. You will need to work with your Sub School principal to resolve the potential loss of credit.
Also, please remember that we will only accept up to 7 parent notes for absences per semester. After that point, only notes from medical professionals and legal entities will be accepted for excused absences. For more information please contact your sub school.
SATURDAY SCHOOL: PLEASE NOTE…
Saturday School is held on weekends when students are in school both Friday and Monday!!! There is NO Saturday School on long weekends. Remaining Saturday Schools this semester:

Hedgcoxe Elementary 2016-2017 PTA Scholarship
In an effort to support the continuing education of Hedgcoxe Elementary graduates, the PTA will provide a scholarship in the amount of $500 to a graduating PISD High School senior who attended Hedgcoxe Elementary for at least two years including fifth grade. Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and plan to attend a college or junior college in the following year.
Applicants must complete a 500 to 1500 word essay titled “How my years at Hedgcoxe impacted me,” a personal history (extracurricular activities, awards, etc.) and two recommendation letters from non-family members.
Applications will be accepted beginning March 1, 2017 and no later than May 2, 2017 at 3:00 PM.

STUDENT IDS
Delta Sub School is NOW able to make IDs for students. Please bring $5 to Sub School, IN BETWEEN CLASSES, so that we may accommodate your ID needs.
CRIMESTOPPERS
Crimestoppers is seeking information about any thefts or criminal mischief incidents on campus. Students caught creating FAKE email, twitter, Facebook, instagram or any other social media accounts can be punished with fines and jail time. Students can receive cash rewards and remain anonymous by texting the keyword PISD plus YOUR TIP and CAMPUS NAME to 274637.

Seniors
Please get on the parent portal and print your immunizations before you graduate. Please keep these in your permanent records for future needs.
If you have received your meningitis vaccine for college and would like it added to your immunization record, please send a copy to the clinic.
Reminder
If you are vomiting, having diarrhea or running a fever over 100.0 please remain home until 24 hours until symptom free. This will help keep our school healthy.

STUDENTS TAKING AP EXAMS
DUAL CREDIT ANNOUNCEMENT
All participating students must be admitted to Collin College, register and pay fees, if applicable, NO LATER THAN Friday, May 26th. If you have questions, please refer to the Dual Credit Information Form or see your counselor.
**If a student receives accommodations in current classes, it is IMPERATIVE they contact the Collin College Access Office for information about applying for and receiving accommodations in Dual Credit classes. ATTENTION SENIORS
If a college you have applied to requires a mid-year report (not all do), follow these steps:
1. Reprint transcript request in Naviance and highlight/circle the school(s) that should receive a report.
2. Registrar will prepare transcript and email both student and counselor letting them know it is ready to go when counselor report is ready.
3. Counselor will complete their section of mid-year report and email registrar that it is ready.
4. Registrar will send report(s).
