HOUSEKEEPING
Busabout would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support and assistance with the School Opal System.
As we return for Term 3, we would like to encourage you to keep up the great work you have done, by ensuring that students have a valid Opal card for all routes and have them out and ready, to tap on before boarding. This has helped to improve loading times and provided excellent Opal data for future service planning.
Please telephone the school office to notify daily absences. If a student has a planned absence of more than 2 days please notify the office by email with the dates and explanation of absence.
For absences of 10 days or more an Application for Extended Leave must be completed and are available from the College Website. If your child is ill, please keep them at home and notify the school.
Parents are asked to call the office before 2:00pm if needing to send messages to students. This allows our office helper time to deliver the message before end of school.
Parents are reminded that students should go to the office if feeling unwell. The office will call parents if student needs to go home. Students should not text or email parents first.
Student/ family detail verification forms for Year 7 and 8 will be distributed Friday 27 July by homeroom teachers. Parents are asked to review details and complete any changes, sign and return to the office before Friday 3 August.
Roads and carpark areas within the school and church precinct are subject to all general road rules. Parents and Carers are reminded that the speed limit for driving on College grounds is 10 kph.
Penalties for parking in No Parking signed areas, or incorrectly near pedestrian crossings, are significant and will be applied. Local police will be making periodic checks. Please use set down areas as advised. If staying longer please park in a parking bay.
