Career Opportunities in Logistics & Transportation Education Session
NEIU in partnership with the Scranton Area Foundation have developed a special program for sophomore students. Representatives from both Kane Logistics and FlyAVP will share additional job opportunities within their systems. This session will take place on Thursday, March 18th from 10:30-11:30.
Here is the blurb from the flyer introducing what the session will be: "Transportation employment opportunities including aviation, railroads, waterways, over the road, and through pipelines, as well as warehousing and storage are plentiful. Workers in this industry operate carriers, design systems, operate or repair equipment, plan how to move materials, and take care of storing products." Please check out the flyer below for more information.
To register for this event, please fill out the Google Form linked at the bottom of this page no later than Wednesday, March 17th at 12:00 PM. Once we have a list of interested students, we will distribute the information on how to access the live event.
**Please note that this is during school hours. Any student who chooses to attend this program will be excused from 2nd and 5th period on Thursday, but is required to make up any work that is missed.**
There will be a reflection document associated with the event that must be filled out and submitted to the school counseling department by 12:00 PM on Friday, March 19th. Attendance will not be excused until this document is returned.
