Bobcat Bulletin April 15, 2023
Keep Going Keep Growing
A MESSAGE FROM MRS. ANDERSON
Dear Bobcat Families:
It’s hard to believe that quarter 4 is here and we are in the final stretch of the 2022-2023 school year. Our students are ready to conquer their quarter 4 academic goals and continue their journey in becoming leaders within our building.
This month we begin our state testing in grades K-2, with 3-5 continuing in May. We know our Bobcats are ready to show what they know! Thank you for being a support to them and ensuring they are well rested. All students can eat a hot breakfast at school as long as they arrive before 7:55.
Finally, thank you to all of our families who came out to support our annual Field Day! In this bulletin you will see pictures from the event. It brought us so much JOY to see our students and staff enjoy a day filled with activity and friendly competition.
As always, thank you for your continued support.
In partnership,
Mrs. Anderson, Principal
Leader in Me Family Survey
As you may know, our school is a Leader in Me school. Leader in Me teaches 21st-century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader.
Our school will be conducting surveys to learn more about key areas of strength and areas of needed growth in our school. In order for us to have a holistic picture of what is going on in our school, we are asking all full-time staff members, parents/guardians, and students in Grade 4 and up to participate.
Parent Participation
If you decide to participate, you will be asked to complete a survey (without sharing your name or other identifying information) that will be available through the weblink below. The survey is completely voluntary, but we do hope to get feedback from one member of every household.
The parent/guardian survey takes about 12 minutes to complete and will ask questions about your child and about his or her experience in our school.
Please take this survey: https://www.leaderinme.com/s/eden-park-elementary-fl/families
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK - WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We would love to surprise teachers throughout the week with $5 gift cards to anywhere of your choice. We will be collecting gift cards in the front office from April 3rd to May 3rd. Please feel free to have your child drop gift card(s) off on their way into the building or parents can stop in anytime during the school day to drop off.
If you know of any local restaurants, catering companies, or businesses who would like to donate their time/food at anytime during this special week, please contact our front office at 239-377-9200.
SAC Meeting
In collaboration with Benison Center, we are excited to enter all community members who attend our SAC meeting into a donation raffle drawing. We look forward to seeing who will walk out of the meeting with a prize.
The agenda will be published our school website under About Us- School Advisory Council (SAC) https://www.collierschools.com/Page/6981

On the classroom celebration days, refreshments and treats must be store bought. In all cases, children are recognized on their special day. Birthday parties will not be held at school.
