Welcome to the R. Brown McAllister Elementary School PTO! The purpose of the PTO is to aid and support students and staff by providing support for educational needs. We raise funds and develop community partnerships in support of our school. The PTO organizes several schoolwide events each year that bring our families, students, and teachers together, from Family Restaurant nights to our annual Fun Run. We strive to provide an open communication line between administration, staff, and parents.

Big picture

Fun Run

Students will participate by running/walking laps around the gym during their designated time with their class on October 28th, 2022!

We want every student to enjoy this time with their friends outside of the classroom and to participate by walking or running however many laps they feel comfortable with.

Each student will receive a t-shirt and their laps will be tracked. Students should wear comfortable clothes and shoes for running/walking. All students that turn in donations will receive a prize. Below is a flyer for the event as well as a donation link!

March Madness

Classes compete in a challenge to fill up their class calendar with donations. The class in each grade span (K-1, 2-3, and 4-5) that has their sign-up genius completed first will play in the March Madness basketball game against the Encore and Administration team on the date. March 2023.

Restaurant Nights

Several times a year, the RBMPTO hots Spirit Nights at area restaurants and other merchants. The events raise money for our school and a percentage of the night’s sales are donated to RBM. These nights are great ways for students, parents, and staff to get to know each other a little better! Participating restaurants such as Chick-Fil-A and Papa John’s participate.

Room Parent Committee - Room Parent Form

This program is designed to give the teachers and PTO an additional resource throughout the year to represent and support each classroom.

Office Help Staff

Clerical Volunteers to help with general workroom support (i.e. copies, laminations, etc.) Look for the sign-up sheet posted on Dojo soon with opportunities to assist on Tuesday or Thursday weekly!


Lunch Volunteers

Lunch Room Monitors to provide duty-free lunches for teachers. Please look for the sign-up sheet posted on Dojo soon with opportunities to volunteer at the approximate 2-hour slot.
