Sunday Message
Sunday Message Week of November 11th, 2019
Thank You to all Veterans!!
Please join us on Wednesday, November 13th as we pay tribute to our service men and women at our first home basketball game of the year. All veterans will receive free entry into the game.
Holiday Cards for Service Members
In honor of Veterans Day and the beginning of the holiday season, we think an awesome way to continue our lessons of paying it forward would be to do a Holiday Greeting Card Drive for our Service men and women. Bring a card with the following criteria, to the Wednesday night basketball game to receive free admission. We will ship off all the cards on Friday. It's a wonderful project for the family to have a discussion about the importance of thinking about others.
The criteria are as follows:
- Start with a greeting card or a piece of paper no larger than 8x11 (folded in half to make a card).
- Address the card to “Dear Service Member,”
- Write a personal note. Share about yourself and your community. For example: How do you celebrate the holidays? What are your family memories of the holidays? Our servicemen and servicewomen enjoy learning about your hometown. The messages can be serious or funny or both, always keeping in mind that appropriate and respectful language is a must! (See more prompts below.)
- Sign your first name ONLY and list your school and town.
- Envelopes are not necessary. If you have an envelope, please do NOT seal it. There is no need to address the envelope, but you can write “Service Member” on the outside of the envelope. Feel free to decorate the envelope.
Some writing prompts include:
- I appreciate what you do because … •
- My favorite holiday tradition is … •
- I love the holidays because … •

Visitors, Help Keep Us Safe
When visiting the campus, for any length of time, please be sure to park in the designated parking spots and walk in. Cars blocking the fire lane causes unsafe conditions to all on campus, should there be an emergency. Also, please remember to bring a photo ID in each time you visit the campus.

Turn Right When Exiting 7:35-7:50 and 3:00-3:20
During and morning and afternoon carline, traffic congestion is becoming an increasingly problematic issue. We encourage drivers to exit right onto Glade Creek Road. The continuous flow of traffic is crucial to an efficient arrival and dismissal process.
We are working with DOT to put in other safety measures, but we need your help.
Please consider this alternate route, when leaving the campus to ensure the safe departure of all BA families. We appreciate your cooperation in advance.
Yearbook Season!!!
Yearbooks are available for purchase! From Now until November 30th yearbooks are priced at $35 with options to personalize. Please click here to order your child a gift that they will enjoy a lifetime.
