Counselor Corner
On July 9, 2015, Governor Bill Walker signed the Alaska Safe Children's Act (also known as Erin's and Bree's Law) requiring all schools to provide child sexual abuse and dating violence awareness and prevention education for all students, Kindergarten through 12" grade, annually.
The law also allows parents to choose not to have their child participate in the program. If you do not wish for your child to participate, please complete the form below and return it to the Counseling office. Prevention education for all students is scheduled to take place in all buildings quarterly, our lessons begin next week.
November Character Trait: Gratitude
Mears staff will be looking to recognize students who express gratitude.
Gratitude: focusing on what's good in our lives and being thankful for the things we have.
Parents, do you have a great photo for the yearbook?

Our cover design contest ends on December 1st. Entries must be done digitally and include both a front and back cover. See Mrs. Barclay in room 109 for more details.
