In accordance with Nebraska State Statute, #173 NAC 7, Millard Public Schools are required to provide a health screening that includes a dental, vision, and hearing screening as well as weight and height. We had a few school years where we paused on this due to COVID, but we are back to doing them this year!

The health room will be doing a full screening on students in Pre-K through 4th grade. Kindergartners will only be screened for the items missing on their Kindergarten Physicals. You do have the option to opt your child(ren) out of the screening process. The health room will be able to take a written or verbal decision; however, there is a form that needs to be filled out and signed by a physician before December 1, 2022.
