LAWS OF MOTION
1st law of motion
A object in motion tends to stay in motion, and an object at rest tends to stay at rest, unless an outside force acts apon the object. For example, when you throw a ball it will fall, because of gravity. If you were in space and you threw the ball it would never stop because there is no gravity.
The planets will keep orbiting around the sun because there is no outside force.
The ball will go far but it will fall eventually.
When you bunt you do not use as much force so the ball falls faster.
Newtons 2nd law
The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude to the net force in the inversely proportional to the mass of the object.
Newtons 3rd law
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. For example if you push something heavy in space it will push you backwards.
