Geography
Botswana is a landlocked country in the southern pasrt of Africa, north of South Africa.
Botswana is semi-arid due to the short rain season. Botswana also has a dry seson which lasts from April to October towards the south, and November in the north. The whole country is windy and dusty during the dry period. The south is mostly exposed to cold winds during the winter, which is mostly from early May to late August. The hole country has sunny sumers with highly average tempatures. The country is sunny year round but winter is the the sunniest period. The land in Botswana is mostly flat with a few hilly areas were mining takes place. The Kalahari desert is in the central and the southwest. The Okavango Delta, one of the largest inland delta, is in the northwest and the Makgadikgadi Pans, a large salt pan, lies in the north-central area.
