Houston Zoo - Field Trip

If your child hasn't returned their permission slip, please return them as soon as possible. Our field trip is May 24th to the Houston Zoo.

If you've stated that you would like to be a chaperon, we will verify if the office has already processed a background check on you. If they haven't, we will be sending one home with in the next few days.

STAAR Testing

Students will be taking their Math STAAR Test next Monday and Reading on Tuesday. They've worked very hard all year and are fully prepared! No visitors will be allowed on campus those two days. Please make sure your child goes to bed early and gets plenty of rest.

A Letter to Your Child

We will be sending an envelope home tomorrow. Please write words of encouragement/peace for your child. We will have them out on their desk the morning of testing.

Attendance is very important. Students have incentives in class and campus wide. Please try to have your child to school on time and the entire time.

However, if your child has had a fever or ill, please keep them home until they've been 24 hour fever free.

Because of our STAAR BLITZ! Students will be traveling with their class to other reading and math teachers for this week. Because of this, students will NOT receive the traditional homework that is due on Fridays or Mondays.

Instead we ask that students do Think Through Math and iStation at home. Students have their own personal login information.
