Parent Tiger Talk
December
Happy Holidays!
As we close on this year, I am reminded of the amazing continuous quality improvement work done throughout 2018 to position the district for the future, notably:
revisiting the District's Strategic Plan to update our mission, values and beliefs;
receiving close to $1.4 million through four different grants including the transition, school-based mental health, safety, and charter grants;
continuing to work on our green space with the addition of the the north field;
Opening Blossom Alternative Program;
increasing Ripon’s state report card score by 2 points to rank us as a top district in our region of the state; and
further closing the achievement gap as evidenced with Murray Park joining Quest in the significantly exceeds expectations on the state report card.
Thank you for all you do to make this a wonderful district. RASD wishes you and your family a safe and relaxing winter break. School resumes on Wednesday, January 2. We will see you in 2019!
With Tiger Pride!
Your Superintendent,
Mary
