Financial Literacy Training for 1st-8th Grade Teachers
Attention All 1st-8th Teachers:
In partnership with the University of Cincinnati’s Economics Center, Midwest Regional ESC is offering a 60-minute $martPath Training Session.
Who: This workshop is for 1st through 8th grade educators – including classroom teachers (particularly Math, Social Studies, and English/Language Arts), special education/gifted teachers, technology coordinators/teachers, librarian/media specialists, curriculum directors, principals, and superintendents.

WHAT IS $MARTPATH?
$martPath is an engaging, interactive and easy-to-use way for elementary school teachers to embed relevant and fun economic and financial education in their classrooms.
All $martPath units of study:
- Provide application for reading and math skills at grade level
- Are relevant and deliver on Ohio’s Content Standards.
- Include embedded assessments so teachers can easily track and report on student progress
- Are fun, simple-to-run and quick so they fit into any teaching program
- Are high-quality, interactive and engaging!
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
This one-hour workshop will include a walk-through of the $martPath platform as well as provide you with best practices for implementing the curriculum successfully in your classroom.

What time should I arrive at the training site? Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the check-in process.
What You Should Bring? Participants should bring note-taking materials.
