A note from the office...
This does not apply to employee children:
Students should try to arrive to school 15 minutes prior to class time. Students that arrive after their program start time will be marked Tardy. Students that arrive after attendance is taken will be marked Absent.
Parents need to send a note to excuse any/all absences. Notes must be received within 72 hours or the absence will not be excused. It should include: student’s full LEGAL name (no nicknames please), date and reason for the absence, and the parent’s name and phone number. Absences need to be excused even if the parents were called by the nurse because they had a sick child in the clinic.
If parents need to change the way their child is going home (new bus #, car rider instead of bus, etc.), they need to call the school at least 30 minutes before dismissal.
Parents or emergency contacts MUST show a valid picture ID when picking up a student, even if they were called by the nurse because they have a sick child in the clinic.
If parents needs to pick their child up early from school, they need to do so at least 30 minutes before dismissal.
Parents must inform the front office of any changes of phone numbers or home address. If a student moves, parents must provide the front office with a new proof of residency BEFORE we can make any changes in transportation.
Any requests for changes/additions in transportation must be done via email through the teacher.

A note from the Nurse...
Please do not send your child to school when your child has fever, vomiting, diarrhea, rash or red/draining eyes. They must stay home for a FULL 24 hours WITHOUT fever, vomiting, diarrhea WITHOUT the use of medications to control those symptoms (Motrin/Tylenol.)
Once a child has been out for 5 consecutive days with illness, they CANNOT return to school without a doctor’s note.
Please do not forget to send a note EVERY time your child misses school. Please indicate WHAT is wrong with your child. This helps us keep track of trends of illnesses in our classroom and school.
