Name that historical fact!
I hoped you learned while still having fun! Did you know that St.Augistine has 11,500 residents and was founded by the Spanish in 1565 and is the oldest occupied city made by Europeans in the United States. The city also is the oldest port in the United States. That is a historical fact!
Did you know that on December 13, 1989, President George H. W. Bush signed the Everglades National Park Protection and Expansion Act. In addition to adding 109,506 acres to the eastern side of the park, it also closed off airboats from the park boundaries.
The reason that on the first day we had an italian theme is beacuse florida was founded and owned by spain until the united states bought it from them, so we went back to the begining!
