CELC News & Updates
CELC Families,
I am happy to share some great news! We are welcoming a new teacher to our TK Team, Mrs. Earley! Many of you may already be familiar with her, as she has been an integral part of the Alpine Union School District since 2012, making significant contributions to our educational community.
Mrs. Earley's journey within our district has been marked by dedication and excellence. She has worn many hats over the years, and most recently, she has been serving as a Preschool Teacher at Creekside Early Learning Language Academy (CELLA), a vital component of our Dual Language Preschool program. Yurisan's tireless efforts have been instrumental in the growth and success of this program, and we are confident that she will bring the same passion and commitment to her new role as a TK teacher.
Aside from her professional contributions, Mrs. Earley and her family have been proud residents of Alpine for the past twelve years. This community is not just where she works; it's where she lives and raises her family. Yurisan and her husband, Allen, are parents to two remarkable sons. AJ is currently pursuing a degree in Bio-Engineering at UCSD, while Paul is following his passion for education at Christian Florida College. Both of her sons have had the privilege of attending elementary and middle school right here in the Alpine Union School District, which has deepened their family's connection to this exceptional community.
We still need over 80 applications filled out. If you haven't already, please take the time to fill out the free/reduced application at https://www.alpineschools.net/o/ausd/page/free-and-reduced-meal-program to help CELC continue to receive Title I funding to support our students. Click on the SchoolCafe button to fill out the application. You will need your child's student ID number. You can get this in ParentVUE, ask your child's teacher, or call the office

For the safety and security of students and staff, gates are locked during school hours.
- Please use the front gate for entering and exiting the campus. the side gates are for employees only and must remain closed.
Please report any absences to your child's teacher and the office. Please let the office know the reason that your child is out and any symptoms if they are sick. Email Mary Barkely, our amazing Clerk or call the office at 619-659-8250.
