The Hawk Talk
'Together, We Can Make a Difference.' May 17, 2019
Principal's Message
Greetings Families,
One writer says that reading with a child is one of the best ways to show them you love them. Here is why.
They have your attention.
They have your time.
They have your focus.
As the school year nears the end, I challenge Hawthorne families to dedicate a little time each day to read to a student, have a student read to you, or read a book together. Summer is a great time to kick back and relax with a good book. On those long road trips, stock up with plenty of books with great pictures to pass the time. As always, students need to be at school each day, on time with the focus to finish strong! Have a great weekend. HawkPride #GOGETIT Mr. Butler
