Dawn Baxter (Intermediate) - Discovered Woot Math! She says, "I just found the interactive fraction questions where you can model them using fractions, circles, bars, number lines, sets, area models, and base ten blocks!" Math geniuses at work!


Rebecca Minshew (Intermediate) - ELA teachers use MicNotes to record test questions for oral administration students. Students can listen to the question, but can still read the reading passage on their own. What a great tool!


Lisa Heath (Junior High) - Many teachers at the Junior High are excited to have received their Chromecasts! Woo hoo!

Brett Purcell (Junior High) - Using QR codes! Students scan the codes around the room and are taken to a designated website. They read through the site, and then compose an answer to a set of questions. Great way to keep your students active and engaged!

Kathy Custer (Intermediate) - Groups collaboratively worked together in a shared Google Doc to describe and write steps to an ongoing project. Several students were even using the suggestion tool and voice typing! Amazing!

Sixth Grade ELA (Intermediate) - Using Google Forms to collect AR data from students, playing Quizzizz and Kahoot to assess knowledge, and they have Google Classroom and Lexia up and going! Way to rock and roll with technology!

Tina Terrell (Junior High) and Gina Hodges (Elementary) - Joined their two classes using Google Hangouts, to share their Genius Hour topics! Their goal is to make this an ongoing collaborative activity throughout the year. Collaborating rocks!

April Richards (High School) , Chaney Chittum (Elementary) - Mrs. Richards' Principles of Health Science classes used Kahoot Team Mode to review for their nine weeks exam! Mrs. Chittum's first graders also used Kahoot to assess their knowledge! Gaming and learning is awesome! Kahoot is fun for any grade!

Mary Hendry (Admin), Stacy Williams (Elementary), Patricia Smith (Junior High), Lucy Lopez (Elementary), Gloria Hurtado (Elementary) - These ladies joined me for Hologram Training at the tech building last Thursday! They learned how to create a hologram viewer, make still image holograms, and brainstormed innovative ways to use holograms in the classroom! Ask them how easy and fun this would be for your classroom!
