Dresden's Monthly Literacy Tips
March 2020
March is National Reading Month!
The goal of National Reading Month is to help children develop the habit of reading for at least 15 minutes a day. For some kids, this is no problem, but for others it can be a challenge. Creating an atmosphere of reading that promotes reading as fun and enjoyable experience can help reach this goal.
Here are a few of the ways we are promoting reading this month at Dresden!
One Book One School
We want to help make every home a place where reading happens regularly. Where families read together and where students grow up to be healthy, regular readers. A place where books are present, shared and talked about in the home.
