Our April PTSA Meeting is Tomorrow/ Wednesday night, April 14th at 7 PM, and we will be holding our Election, part 2! Please come out and help us reach quorum so we can elect officers for the 2021-2022 Board. Then agenda will also include voting out funds for 8th grade graduation activities and teacher appreciation. Plus we'll be talking Return to Campus!
PTSA is for everyone! Parents, teachers and students are encouraged to participate and are eligible to hold office. **While student members cannot run for President or Treasurer, they can hold other positions like secretary or historian -- a great opportunity for any interested 8th graders!

Earth Day Activities!
This year is the 51st anniversary of Earth Day!

3. Participate in Reed's Global Leadership Club Earth Day challenge!
Submit any form of art that expresses "What Does Earth Day Mean To You?" to

4. Learn about the movement for environmental and climate justice

Whether you volunteered with PTSA, FoR, FIHP, SSC, ELAC, SDM, NJHS, supported a school club, attended a local district meeting or committee, spent extra time prepping for a lesson or campus return, or gave your time for Reed in any other capacity.... PTSA says THANK YOU!!! Your time is precious and we can't thank you enough for giving it to our school and our students!

School will resume for in person hybrid instruction for Reed the week of April 26th. On Monday the 26th, all students will have an asynchronous work day with a 30 minute virtual advisory check in. More information about this day is forthcoming. Please see below for the schedule for the remainder of that week.

The bell schedule for all will be changing and this information is forthcoming.
There will be several Coffee with the Principals the week of April 19th, tentatively scheduled as followed. These will be held via Zoom (as opposed to Webinar) so there will be a limit of 300 participants per meeting. The content will be identical, so if you miss one, please attend one of the other sessions.

Principal Friedman will also hold an informational session for students directly as well.
Reed wants to give returning students the red carpet treatment (literally)! If you or someone you know has a connection that could help the school get/borrow a red carpet for the Return next week, please email dad1866@laus.net.
