8th Grade Field Day

Thank you so very much Mrs. Young and Mrs. Laurence for organizing the best Field Day yet. A special thanks to all of our staff for their help and their cooperation. The kids really do have fun and appreciate what you do to make this day possible.

Bridging the Gap

The crazy JHS Wildcat is up to his old tricks again. During the week the wildcat picked up letters for the local elementary schools. The current 6th grade classes write to our 7th graders and we respond and return the letters. Just another great to transition our new 7th grade class.

Character Counts End of the Year Video Yearbook

Thanks for another great year of character Mr. Raffaele and Mrs. Zedalis

Author TY DRAGO Presents to PRJHS’s 7th graders

Ty Drago is the author of the UNDERTAKERS middle grade horror series. In addition to published four books, his novel the RISE OF THE CORPSES has been adapted for a feature film, written by Jeffery Reddick and produced by Mondercine!

Writing has been a passion of Mr. Drago’s for as long as he can remember. As of last November, he became a full-time writer and he is certainly enjoying the ride! He has authored no less than fifteen novels and scores of short stories; so far, five of these have been published. He currently lives in southern New Jersey with his wife, a mutt named Charlie and two goofy cats.

7/8 Athletic Awards

On Monday, July 1, we celebrated our scholar-athletes at the annual Athletic Awards Ceremony held in the High School Auditorium.

The Watershed Warriors are at it Again

Wednesday, June 3 was the Barnegat Bay Blitz and several JHS classes joined in the clean up efforts. The mission: clean up the Barnegat Bay Watershed and spread awareness about the people pollution impacting the Bay.

A special thanks to the students in Mrs. Lentini's and Mrs. Raber's classes for all of their clean up efforts.

PRJHS Band and Chorus Shine at Hershey Music Festival

  • Concert Band received a mark of High Excellent
  • Choir was rated as Superior
  • Jazz Band was also rated as Superior

Great job to the talented students, Mr. Strouse, and Mr. Majoros!

Relay for Life

On Friday, May 29, members of PRIDE attended Relay for Life at Southern Regional High School. Students boarded the buses around 4:00 pm, participated in the events and returned back to the JHS around midnight. Our students without a doubt made their community proud. Great job Mrs. Neuner and all of the staff that took time to be a part of this event.
