Christmas Concert Coming Soon

On Wednesday, Dec. 19th, Seton Catholic School will present their annual Christmas Concert at 6:30 PM in Holy Name of Jesus Church. All students in grades Kindergarten (5K) through 8th Grade will participate. Your children have been working very hard on their music and are excited to show you what they can do! This year's theme, "Christmas Around the World", highlights the traditions of different countries as they celebrate the birth of Christ. Come enjoy an evening of singing, handbells, chimes and recorders as the students bring the nativity to life. More details will be in next week's newsletter.

Thank You Shopko Foundation

Seton School was awarded a $1000 grant from the Shopko Foundation to update our science lab to a STEAM lab for the fall of 2019. Currently, we have $8,500 in grants and donations. We hope to raise an additional $16,500 in grants and donations to complete the renovation. At this time we have purchased new stools, flexible seating that will accomodate all ages, and a large rug for whole class lessons. Next, we plan to add some new technology and tools.

Please watch for a volunteer work day opportunity to help us do some clean up and reorganization of the lab.

Congrats to Mrs. Nielsen on her $100 Meemic Grant for Scholastic books!

Weather and Other Closings or Delays

We will follow the Sheboygan Area School District in weather-related closings and delays. The exception would be days when Sheboygan Public is not in session. In that case we would make those decisions independently.

You can see our announcements on TMJ4, NBC26, and WBAY2. Closings and delays will also be posted on our school website, Facebook page, and Twitter. In addition, we will send out a recorded phone call and a REMIND.

Baby, It's Cold Outside

Cold weather is fast approaching (actually it's already here). All students should come to school each day with a jacket, hat & gloves. If there is snow on the ground -- children must come to school with snow pants and boots.

Thank you for helping us keep your children warm and healthy!

Please Follow This Route for Drop-Off and Pick-Up Safety.

Support PBIS By Ordering Coffee and Tea

Every month Seton School offers the opportunity to order coffee and tea from Mystic Monk. Orders are due to the office by the end of the month and arrive shortly after to go home with your children. This year, the proceeds of those purchases will be used to buy rewards for our students to support our PBIS system. So far we have raised $114.08. Please consider Mystic Monk Coffee and Teas.
