Attendance Procedures

Official Attendance Time at BBE is 9:50 am. Please contact your child's teacher AND the attendance office to report an absence, using one of the following methods:

Detailed absence information is available on the Attendance webpage of the BBE website.

Visitor Guidelines

Due to an increase in BBE enrollment numbers this year and cafeteria capacity, as well as the current environment, we are no longer able to accommodate lunch visitors. Parents are welcome to visit your child for lunch on their birthday or half-birthday (for summer birthdays). Visitors may be invited to attend special pre-planned outdoor events throughout the school year. Please watch for these dates to be published on the website and in the Buzz. On those dates, visitors are required to enter the front of the school and check-in to the front office with your driver's license for identification.

Counselor's Corner

Wisdom Wednesdays

Parents, every Wednesday we promote college awareness at BBE. Students will have the opportunity to watch college promo videos or videos from BBE alumni sharing where they attended college. Please encourage your child to join us by wearing a college or military t-shirt each Wednesday. All our Bears have bright futures!

Our Fall Fest is coming up on Friday, October 29th! Fall Fest provides a wonderful family event that also raises funds for PTA sponsored programs. These programs directly benefit our children as they participate in Science Labs, Everybody Counts, Parent Education, After School Enrichment Activities, Online Educational Subscriptions, and many other resources.

Would your business or family like to help support Fall Fest? PTA is looking for Auction items for the online auction, as well as sponsorships for the games and inflatables. All donors and sponsors will be recognized in the Buzz, PTA's website, social media, and signage on the day of the event.

What type of items will be included in this year's auction? Restaurant Gift Cards, Two Days at a Galveston Get-a-way, a Spa Basket for Kingwood Skin Essentials, Estate and Will Planning, a birthday party package from Kids in Action, a year's worth of bagels from Panera, brewery and wine baskets, Hallway and Birthday Signs, and much more!

For more information on Fall Fest Silent Auction, please contact Nickolette Amstutz at ffauction@bbepta.com, or visit the BBE PTA website.

Donations for the traditional Class Basket Raffle may be sent to the school from Sept 27-Oct 19. Watch for an email from the teachers with more details. Each teacher's basket theme is listed below:
